Standard Terms

At EDIMBIBE LEARNING PRIVATE LIMITED (Classento), we prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to maintain the highest quality in our tutoring services. If you or your child decide to discontinue any paid classes, we offer flexible options to ensure a seamless experience.

The Refund and Replacement Policy is displayed on the payment checkout page and emailed to customers at the time of enrollment for future reference. Parents can also refer to the Fee Details email for more information.

Options Available to Parents

1. Teacher Replacement

Free replacement of the tutor (subject to availability).

A minimum two weeks' notice is required for a tutor change request, where possible.

2. Class Transfer

The remaining balance can be transferred to another class for the same student or a sibling.

3. Refund of Pending Balance

If neither Option 1 nor Option 2 is viable, a refund of the pending balance will be issued to the original payment method.

A 3.5% deduction will be applied to cover bank processing charges.

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after approval.

Tutor Replacement Policy

Free Tutor Replacements

If a tutor is no longer available due to resignation or termination, Classento will provide a free replacement tutor to ensure uninterrupted learning.

If you are unsatisfied with your assigned tutor, you may request up to two (2) additional tutor replacements at no extra cost. This allows you to try up to three (3) different tutors to find the best match.

Refund Eligibility in Case of Tutor Changes

A refund will be considered only after a student has engaged with three (3) different tutors and remains dissatisfied with the tutoring experience.

Refunds will be issued on a pro-rata basis, deducting completed classes and refunding the balance for remaining unused sessions.

No refunds will be provided for completed sessions.

Special Considerations

Classento reserves the right to review and approve exceptions on a case-by-case basis in instances of significant disruption due to tutor changes.

Processing Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days after approval.

Customers will be notified via phone and email once the refund has been processed.

Refund Policy for Rescheduling & Cancellations

Full Refund or Make-Up Classes

If a class is canceled by Classento or the tutor, a full refund or a make-up class will be offered.

Missed Classes Policy

If a student misses three consecutive classes without prior communication, the class fees will be forfeited, and Classento or the tutor reserves the right to cancel future sessions.

If a student does not join the meeting within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the tutor may cancel the session. This will be considered a missed class, and no refund will be provided.

Rescheduling for 1:1 Lessons

Parents must notify Classento at least 12 hours in advance for rescheduling or cancellations.

Rescheduled classes must be conducted within the same week.

Requests made with less than 12 hours' notice will be accommodated on a best-effort basis. Otherwise, the missed session will be considered a completed class.

Delayed Class Start

Tutors will conduct the class only until the scheduled end time, regardless of delays caused by the student.

Policy Revisions

Classento reserves the right to modify or update this refund policy at any time without prior notice.
