1. WHAT USER INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We might collect your name, email, gender, age, date of birth, mobile number, street, city, state, pin-code, country and IP address, current location for the services, if any, KYC documentations and any other relevant records if needed.

c) Student Information:
Grade, school name, curriculum board, subject preferences, session attendance records, and academic progress notes.
d) Payment Information:
Payment confirmation details and transaction records. We do not store card or banking credentials — all payment processing is handled by our payment gateway provider.
e) Technical Information:
IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, session duration, and usage patterns on the Platform.
f) Communications:
Records of your correspondence with us, including emails, support queries, and feedback submitted through the Platform.
2. WE COLLECT INFORMATION IN DIFFERENT WAYS

We collect information directly from you when you register on our website/app. We also collect information if you post a comment on our website/app or ask us a question through phone or email.
b) We collect information from you passively:
We use tracking tools like Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, browser cookies and web beacons for collecting information about your usage of our website/app.
c) We get information about you from third parties:
For example, if you use an integrated social media feature on our website/apps. The third-party social media site will give us certain information about you. This could include your name and email address.

5. CHILDREN'S DATA AND PARENTAL CONSENT
Classento provides educational services primarily to students who may be minors (under 18 years of age). We take the protection of children's data extremely seriously and comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA 2023"), including Section 9 thereof, which imposes specific obligations in relation to the processing of personal data of children.
- We will not process the personal data of a child without obtaining verifiable consent from the child's parent or lawful guardian prior to such processing.
- We will not undertake behavioural monitoring, targeted advertising, or profiling of children.
- We will not process children's data in a manner that is detrimental to the well-being of the child.
By enrolling a student on the Platform, the parent or guardian confirms that they are the lawful parent or guardian of the child and consents to the collection and processing of the child's personal data in accordance with this Policy.
6. SECURITY AND DATA STORING

Security is very important to us. All our data is securely stored at the cloud system of an external storage service provider. All security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Your User Information. We maintain strict physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect Your User Information including your personal information from unauthorized or inappropriate access.

We follow generally accepted standards to collect, store and protect personal data. We retain personal data for as long as it is needed to provide the services you have requested, and thereafter for legal and service purposes. These may include retention periods mandated by legal, contractual, or similar obligations; for resolving, preserving, enforcing or defending our legal and contractual rights; needed to maintain adequate and accurate business and financial records or how you access, update, or delete your data etc.

This website/app will take all reasonable efforts to ensure the confidentiality of personal data, uploaded information etc. and will take reasonable efforts to ensure that the information received from you is not misused. 7. SHARING OF INFORMATION WITH THIRD-PARTIES
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
a) Service Provider:
We share information with vendors, third party affiliates, SMS service providers, third party payment processing gateways like razorpay, freelance professionals, marketing, Microsoft SQL and firebase who help us manage our website/app, online processes and our services. We also share our data with AWS for hosting our platform. These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards.
b) Business partners:
This includes third-party sellers tie up aggregators. Our partners use the information we give them as described in their privacy policies.
c) Legal Compliance:
We will share information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We may also share it if a government agency or investigatory body requests. Or, we might also share information when we are investigating potential fraud.
d) Business Transfer:
In the event our business is sold we may give our customer list as part of that transaction.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. The following indicative retention periods apply:
- Account and enrolment data: Retained for three (3) years following the termination or expiry of your account or enrolment.
- Payment and financial records: Retained for seven (7) years in compliance with the Income Tax Act, 1961 and GST record-keeping requirements.
- Session recordings: Retained for a limited period as set out in our Session Recording Policy, unless retention is required for legal, audit, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Communications and support records: Retained for three (3) years following the last communication.
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, we will securely delete or anonymise your personal data.
9. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA PRINCIPAL
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right to Access: You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the purposes for which it is being processed.

- Right to Nominate: You may nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity, as provided under the DPDPA 2023.

10. EMAIL AND MARKETING OPT-OUT
We may send you promotional emails or SMS messages where you have consented or where permitted by law. To opt out of receiving marketing communications, please email us at support@classento.com. Please allow up to ten (10) days for your request to be processed. You will continue to receive transactional communications (such as payment receipts and session reminders) regardless of your marketing preferences.
11. THIRD PARTY LINKS
The platform may contain links to third-party websites. This policy does not apply to such third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these third-party sites.

JURISDICTION
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at NEW DELHI.
